Antique French Signed and Framed Portrait of 2 Zouaves

Vintage painting or chromo or colored photo - It’s hard to determine which - of 2 Zouaves.   The Zouaves were French light infantry units belonging to the African Army, who stood out thanks to their elaborate uniforms.     The work is signed but I cannot decipher the name (R.
