The program will focus on the multidisciplinary care including medical management and interventional and surgical approaches to treatmen The following topics will be covered: acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cysts, and autoimmune and hereditary pancreatitis. Who Should Attend Nurse Practitioners Physicians Physician Assistants Dieticians Other Learning Objectives Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to: Discuss management of acute pancreatitis based on randomized clinical trial results. Discuss the available data on the natural history of pancreatic cysts and to learn about management appropriate to the risk of malignancy. Apply the best evidence-based management of uncommon conditions such as pancreas divisum, pancreatitis in pregnant women, and autoimmune pancreatitis.
