Pair of vintage plates from the Geo Martel earthenware factory founded by Georges Martel (aka Geo) in 1900. The 2 handmade signed plates have a « Rouen » decor - one with a basket of flowers in the center - the other with the coat of arms of the city MONTVILLE A fine example of the earthenware of Desvres which gained its fame by reproducing famous decoration styles (Delft, Rouen, Moutiers, etc.).
